The annual National Road Safety Week is running from 14-21 May 2023.
National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and government to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.
Every year more than 1,200 people are killed and 44,000 seriously injured on Australian roads and National Road Safety Week is a time for us to remember those people who have experienced trauma on our roads.
We urge communities to come together and make their pledge to ensure the roads are safe for everyone. To drive so others survive.
Local Governments manage over 85% of the Western Australian road network and WALGAs RoadWise are here to support Local Government contributions to a collective road safety effort.
If you would like to find out more about how RoadWise can help contact your Regional Road Safety Advisor.
